Are you moving through a rough patch?
Here are some self-care tips to nurture your body, mind, and spirit as you move through a challenging time.
1. Sit in natural light.
2. Soak in an epsom bath with essential oils. Choose an oil based on the feeling you want to create—relaxing, balancing, clearing, etc.)
3. Get into your body.
Stretch. Walk around. Dance. Whatever gets you into your body and feels right in the moment.
4. Write down 3 things that you are grateful for at this point in your life.
If you are in a rough patch, you may write down something as simple as “I am thankful for the breath I have. I am thankful for running water. I am thankful for a roof over my head. Etc.”
5. Breathe.
Be present with your breath. Imagine every inhale drawing in light and love and every exhale releasing anything stagnant or anything that is no longer serving your highest good.
Remember to be gentle with yourself.
Begin with the decision to feel differently. You can do this.
